The Shelp Customized Biology Laboratory Units and Instructor's Guide
will be available on CD by Fall, 2003. The CD version will be in color, with
interactive features.
Author Phil Shelp is currently developing a CD version of the Manual,
incorporating color photo images into each laboratory exercise. The CD version
of the manual will be fully interactive. When development is complete, it
will be possible for students to do the laboratory exercises using either
the CD or the Internet, from any location, at any time. With this technology,
colleges will be able to offer biology laboratory science courses on-line.
The first units are in development and beta testing at this time. For
