Unit
Overview
This unit is a good example of the flexibility of the Brooks/Cole Access Learning Systems Customized Biology Laboratory Manual service. The tree species in different parts of the United States are different. Therefore, we have available three different regions, (North Central, Southern and Western) for your manual depending on the location of your campus. We also have a set of 20 color plates of tree species available to you free of charge. These are especially useful for teaching situations where laboratory sessions are taught at night or in situations where native tree species are not available. This unit discusses the basic principles of taxonomy including the unity and diversity of life, and the use of dichotomous identification keys.
